Delray Fashion Week: Held in January, it’s a week of special sales, trunk shows, fashion shows, luncheons.
The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade: This annual hometown tradition that began in 1968 with an local Irish pub owner by the name of Maury Power. He took a stroll down Atlantic Avenue with his Shillelagh and a green pig and declared it “my own parade.” www.stpatrickmarch.com
Delray Affair: Occurring annually in April, it started as the Annual Gladiola Festival. Now, 50 years later attracts over 200,000 visitors and features over 600 vendors. The Delray Affair is the largest arts & craft festival in the Southeast United States. www.delrayaffair.com
The Holidays kick off with the Lighting of The Famous 100 Foot Christmas Tree. The month of December showcases the tree lighting. Old School Square is home to the carousel, an ice skating rink, and Santa’s House during the month. Also featured is The Holiday Boat Parade and The Annual Holiday Parade. www.100ftchristmastree.com
